I figured I would really hate my old work, but turned out I loved seeing the progress and felt all nostalgic hehe

I worked on my textual images by putting some into lead. I’ve collected loads of frames from second hand stores to use as my base for my (textual) projects. I wanted to share an example :) (work in progress of course).

I developed my first two rolls of film for my Holga. The first one was filled with some snapshots within a few minutes and the second one was one big crazy experiment (because of some weird problems with the roll) which could have been either very cool or just very lame. The last happened, because it turned out not to contain any image (grr..)! Today I bought some 35mm film with 36 frames (instead of 120mm with 12/16) so I hope to get to know the camera a bit with a bigger amount of shots to mess around with :).

Lately my site content is changing constantly, what makes it a little bit of a mess all the time. I’m changing the accent and adding/returning some sections I had removed. Hope to have it finished this Christmas holiday :).
For now, sorry for the mess..(portfolio, info and news DO HAVE content)

Some of my prints are now available in the blaak10 gallery special Guerrilla KerstStore for Christmas! The work will be for sale from the 11th of December ’till the 3rd of January. Go and have a look :)! The work that will be sold is a mix of accessories, clothing, books, prints and more, made by students and alumni of the Willem de Kooning Academy.

Yesterday I bought the HOLGA C120 plastic analogue Lomography camera :D! I don’t have any film yet, but I can’t wait to try it out, just play with it and then develop my film: how oldskool :)!

Together with 4 other students, my work was selected to be part of the Who Am I? expo at Galerie Atelier Herenplaats! The work will be exhibited from the 13th of November until the 24th of January. The expo will include work from students and teachers from Atelier Vrije Grafiek Academie (Gent), Willem de Kooning Academie and Atelier Herenplaats (both Rotterdam). The opening is Friday the 13th from 17:00-19:00.

Yesterday Elpidha, Robin and myself got ourselves a studio!!!!!!! It’s so f* amazing! The rooms are so great, pretty and huge :D! And it is a minute walk from both Robin’s and my house so that’s so perfect! Yeaahhhh!

Lately my focus is more on photography, which is really nice to get a new perspective again :). I’m hoping to really involve it in my work more, cause I miss it. Want a new camera though, my baby is a little bit limiting sometimes hehe. I’m thinking of maybe getting a Holga (plastic camera you get with thick tape to fix it hehe) to experiment with :), but dunnoyet!

We found out what was wrong with my site. For some ‘magical reason’ my url-settings were set to custom instead of default, which destroyed all links. How on earth it happened, no one knows, but it works again :D! Thnx Boy!

This morning I discovered my website isn’t working properly anymore. The main page of the blog is fine, but all other pages suddenly don’t work anymore. I’ve got no clue how this has happened, so don’t know how long it will take..
Hope I can fix it soon..
